Louisa holds a BA in Geography from Birmingham University and an MSc in Urban Design and City Planning from the Bartlett School of Planning (UCL). Her dissertation for her masters focused on the impact of counter-terrorism physical security measures on the perception of public space quality. With a social science background, Louisa is particularly interested in accessibility in the public realm and how users may experience public space. As well as this, she is also interested in the development of Smart Cities and the influence new technology and data can have on city infrastructure and the people that live there. At Citydesigner Louisa assists consultants with research and uses graphic software to prepare reports assessing the townscape, heritage, architectural and visual impact of new developments.
