Tineke has a Bachelor of Resource Studies from Lincoln University, a Masters in Regional and Resource Planning from the University of Otago and an MSc in Historic Conservation from Oxford Brookes University. She was awarded the Symm Prize for outstanding achievement on the MSc in Historic Conservation programme for 2018-19. Her research focused on comparing the Historic Urban Landscape approach and urban morphology in identifying and evaluating urban heritage within the UK. Prior to joining Citydesigner, Tineke worked as an urban planner in both the private and public sector on a variety on commercial, residential and infrastructure projects within London and Hertfordshire. At Citydesigner, Tineke works on Brighton and London-based projects providing design feedback to architects and clients, conducting historical research, and producing Townscape, Heritage and Visual Impact Assessments of new developments in historic settings.
