Xenia holds an MArch in Urban Design from the Bartlett at UCL and a DipArch with Distinction from Greece. She is a qualified architect in both the UK and Greece. Before joining Citydesigner in 2011, Xenia completed an internship at the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change in Athens that focused on the assessment of traditional built-up areas, their characterisation and protection, and worked as an architect and urban designer at Article 25 in London.
Xenia works on various heritage and townscape based projects in London, Brighton, Manchester, Hertfordshire, and Dublin conducting research; assessing the significance of historical buildings and conservation areas; and producing townscape, heritage and visual impact assessments of new developments in historical settings. Her schemes include the Momentum Lewes Road scheme in Brighton for U+I and the University of Brighton, by Studio Egret West and Hassell Studio; the Tara Street tower in Dublin, by Henry J Lyons; a mixed-use development at Hanover Square in Westminster, by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners; a mixed-use scheme at Hobhouse Court adjacent to the National Gallery, by Arquitectonica; and the Monico Site development at Piccadilly Circus, by Fletcher Priest Architects.
