Cathedral Group recruited us to help with a development partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council. The challenge was to provide a rich mix of uses on a very sensitive site in the centre of the city to a density never before attempted.

Collaborating with the architects Shedkm, the consultancy advised on a strategy for modestly high buildings, which tested views in relation to the listed buildings along Grand Parade and the Grade I listed Brighton Pavilion.

The consultancy provided advice and advocacy for the scheme along with Shedkm’s highly sensitive and innovative design to ensure the design was worthy of its effect on heritage settings. It is soon to be completed.
